Since being founded in Hangzhou, China in 2016, Tongee's vision is to develop new approaches for the treatment of metabolic diseases. Our mission is to relieve patients with metabolic diseases around the world from their pain and help them regain health and happiness. We have developed multiple new medical technologies to treat various metabolic diseases, such as obesity, type 2 diabetes, and nonalcoholic fatty liver. Tongee's Gastric Bypass Stent System, an innovative Class III medical device, has obtained formal approval for chinese market. we believeTongee's Gastric Bypass Stent System is enabling a wide range of less invasive solution for patients suffering from metabolic diseases.

There remain substantial unmet clinical needs in the prevention and treatment of metabolic diseases. As a national innovative enterprise in China, Tongee is committed to developing digestive tract interventional therapy and related medical devices for the management of metabolic diseases. We have established multiple technology platforms and ISO13485-certified R&D, quality, manufacturing, and supply chain management system.      

As of December 2023, there are nearly 10 projects in the company pipeline and over 80 patent applications in Tongee. Several products are undergoing clinical studies of different phases in over 40 well-known hospitals.
